Not only for plus size bra wearers but also for full busted women. Just recently I had the following exchange on Instagram and when I commented that the bra being modeled in a promo video was not fitting I got brushed off with excuses as to why this brand was promoting an ill fitting bra as well as my comments got deleted.
Showcasing ill fitting bras is rampant on social media these days. And of course I did not receive a reply to my comments above. This is why we, as consumers, must educate ourselves or go to an experienced fitter.
- Butt crack cleavage (uniboob)
- Floating gore
- Breasts sitting on stomach
And I can guarantee you this bra could only be worn maybe an hour or two before becoming unbearably uncomfortable and because it does not fit in the cup, the pressure on her shoulders would be painful while the straps take all the weight and try to support her breasts.
So folks, be sure to educate yourself! Don’t rely on the marketing gimmicks of brands to convince you to buy an ill fitting bra.
***I have blocked out the brand name as this is not about the brand – this exchange is just one example of what happens when brands defend their choice to promote ill fitting bras.***
